Beloved Alchemists,

in our efforts to create and maintain clear energy at home and personal space, we tend to forget sometimes some basics that are however extremely powerful and they are what our ancestors worked with before they had access to bundles of herbs only available to us today due to worldwide shipping or before they had access to ready-made aura cleanse sprays.

I always keep a thick line of salt across the border of my front door, which extends beneath my doormat.

This past week, I was animated by Spirit to line all my windows with double lines of sea salt. One line OUTSIDE the window, along the lower side of the frame and one line INSIDE the window — basically from the inside side of the home/inside your apartment/room.

Salt wards off negativity and is a natural cleanser of epic proportions.

Having a line outside the window wards off and having a line inside the window cleanses the contents of your home container, absorbs heavy energies and once every now and then if you notice that your inside salt has become dark, dirty or has accumulated bugs etc, you remove it and replace it with fresh salt.

As you line your salt, program it by stating your chosen incantations such as ‘‘Keep the bad out, keep the good in’’ or program the salt directly to ward off or return to rightful owner or to absorb. I tend to program both lines to protect: the outside to return to rightful owner/ward off instead of absorbing and the inside to act as a second line of defense but to also catch things from the inside (guests, difficult emotions etc) and to act as a line that strengthens my container so good things do not leak out but stay IN the house.

If by the next day you check your external salt and it has petrified in position, the boundary has worked and the line of defense is strong. If the air has taken it away or there are holes in the line, you may want to fortify it and add more prayer/stronger programming. At the beginning my lines would often be swept by the winds but as I learned to focus strongly my intent and direct energy through the years, it has never happened again.

You can use the salt lines to alert you for things. If for example, your line had been initially successfully petrified and after some time you start to notice holes or breakage, it may represent that something has been trying to break through and you want to focus on reinforcements, clearing and recalibration or examining where life could be leaking from currently or being infiltrated in some way (negative interference through people, situations etc).

Finally, consider adding a long line of salt also along walls that neighbor other people’s houses or apartment’s. If your apartment bedroom is only separated by a wall and on the other side is somebody’s TV, kitchen or other ‘‘lively’’ spaces, you may want to create a barrier so energetically your sleep is buffered by other people’s lives and household energies.

Needless to say that the front door is the most important line of defense! I like to double down there also by adding my Psychic Protection Altar Oil and pray over the salt as I touch it with my hands and pour it in a straight line, add angelica root and spray essential oils such as geranium and others for protection and neutralization of energies.

Consider adding a little note under your doormat which anchors your Law of Structure or some message that specifically states a boundary. When dealing with a possessed neighbor, I added on mine ‘‘no demonics allowed’’! He used to spit on my door without provocation — after that he stopped!
